New Guidelines for Listserv Research Activities
APAHC is pleased to offer a new opportunity for members to have announcements posted to the APAHC listserv to solicit participants for research studies. Previously, such requests were not permitted on the listserv, but now a process has been developed for reviewing them. At least one member of the research team must be an APAHC member. Interested members can contact APAHC via the contact form to request an application or obtain additional information about this opportunity. Applications will be reviewed by members of the APAHC Research Committee monthly. All approved requests will be posted monthly on the listserv at the start of the month in digest form.
New! Resources for Researchers Page
The Research Committee (RC) is comprised of current members of APAHC, including student members. The RC has been involved in a number of projects to advance the role of psychologists in academic health centers. With that objective in mind, RC members have met and developed collaborative relationships with directors and staff of the AAMC Center for Workforce Studies, the AAMC Data Operations Center, the APA Science Directorate, and the APA Center for Workforce Studies. The RC has been involved in a number of projects. We have also presented at a variety of national conferences. Additional research projects are in progress, or in planning.
