Dear !!display_name!!,

Thank you for your APAHC membership renewal. We appreciate your ongoing support and membership. Below is a list of your member benefits and how to access them.

Journal of Clinical Psychology in Medical Settings (JCPMS)

Members of the Association receive access to JCPMS through the APAHC website. The peer-reviewed journal publishes applied and basic research related to the work of psychologists in medical settings. Topics include interdisciplinary collaboration, integrated care, health disparities, education and training, research and practice ethics, professional development of psychologists in academic health centers, and professional practice matters in medical settings. Read recent articles HERE.

The APAHC Listserv provides a forum for members to discuss issues and to post information relevant to training in health science centers. If you opt to be added to the listserv, your email will be added by the membership committee. Members can opt out of the Listserv anytime by logging in to your account HERE. The Listserv is hosted through APA and follows APA listserv etiquette rules (located here).

Interface with Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC)/Council of Faculty and Academic Societies (CFAS)

Through their representation, APAHC members are regularly updated on topics that are relevant to practice and training of our physician colleagues.

Opportunity to serve on Committees

In addition to our benefits, APAHC has multiple committees in which you can consider joining. These are listed on our website HERE. We also have representation at the board level for our early career psychologists and trainees members. They serve as liaisons and develop unique programming for our ECP and trainee members. Please contact the ECP Committee Chair and Trainee Committee Chair representatives with any questions or ideas for ECP/trainee opportunities!

Grand Rounds is a semi-annual newsletter highlighting our members’ work in clinical, research, educational, and leadership aspects of psychologists’ roles in academic health centers. It also regularly features topics related to diversity and inclusion, APAHC events, and professional development.

Research Resources

The APAHC Research Committee has compiled a collection of resources to aid members in their research. The collection includes frequently updated funding resources, guidelines, relevant articles, and other resources. Check out the resource collection HERE.
